The TS-510 is a narrow-band, multi-channel digital troposcatter communication system to provide long-haul extension for local tactical communication networks. The system is used for “over-the-horizon” data and digital voice communications, with a maximum planning range of 200km when suitable terrain is selected.
TS-510是一种窄带、多通道数字式对流层散射（TROPOSCATTER）通信系统，去提供长途扩展用于战术局部通信网络。系统用于“超地平线”（over-the-horizon）数据和数字语音通信，当选择适当的地形时具有最大200公里水平距离。
The system is carried on a 6x6 cross-country truck. Two transmitters and two high-power amplifiers are mounted on the roof of the shelter. The troposcatter communication system provides a useful addition to the satellite communications for long-haul data/voice transmission.
系统携带在一辆6x6越野卡车上。二台发射机和二台高-功率放大器安装在车箱顶上。对流层散射通信系统用于长途数据/语音传送，给卫星通信提供一个有用的补充。
